Risk assessment & method statement
Prepared and reviewed before mobilisation, covering the task, the site and the materials in use.
PPE & toolbox briefings
Workers briefed on task-specific hazards and equipped with the right PPE before every shift.
Traffic management
Signage, cones and diversion plans for works on or beside live roads and carparks.
Permit-to-work
Followed where the site occupier operates a permit system — hot work, confined space or otherwise.
Environmental controls
Containment and disposal of removed material, and material selection with VOC content in mind.
Incident reporting
Clear escalation for any near-miss or incident, in line with the site's own reporting procedure.
